Connecting is a skill that can be learned. But now is the time that we have to learn how to connect with others.
Speaking
How well do you connect verbally?
Are you afraid of speaking in front of groups?
Can you comfortably communicate a message if called upon by someone else?
Toastmasters is a wonderful place to learn speaking skills that can help you get over the fears of speaking in public.
Writing
How are your skills in writing?
Can you convey a message that is simple to understand in as little words as possible?
The main keys to effective writing is to be clear and concise.
Listening
The third and last part of connecting is listening.
While listening make sure to be actively paying attention. And make sure question for clarity.
And don’t complete the others person’s sentence. This shows disrespect.
