I think this is wonderful question.
I am currently reading Jeffrey Gitomer’s Little Golden Book of YES! Attitude and I am becoming a true believer of a positive attitude all the time.
Now I’m not going to sit here and tell you that I think everything will always be great because this is life after all and life happens, but I do believe that we have the power to positively respond to the negative situation.
Some keys to making this happen:
1. Keep yourself immersed with positive messages by reading and listening to upbeat motivational information
2. Avoid Negative people (Jeffrey calls them pukers). He says, “The people who want to rain on your parade, have no parade of their own.” Keep this in mind when you dealing with people.
3. Keep yourself focused on RESULTS, when you are going after a target you tend to keep yourself in a positive frame of mind. When you reach one target, set up the next one.
4. Buy the book Jeffrey Gitomer’s Little Golden Book of YES! Attitude and start reading it today, it’s packed with great information.
These are just a few ideas to get you going in the right direction.
I have been touch by this book and it is profoundly, positively affecting me in a great way and I know it will you too.
As always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
John Clark
P.S. To keep yourself focused and on target for 2008 get over to http://goals.lifetosuccess.com and get your goals set for 2008 early and hit the ground running at the beginning of 2008.
It can be somewhat difficult to maintain a positive attitude at all times. However, it is important that you at least aim to have a positive attitude. If that doesn’t work, there’s always the next day.
