Making a Fast Start on Your 2011 Goals

I am hoping by now that this message reaches you with your 2011 goals already clearly defined. If not make sure to get over to http://gotresolutions.lifetosuccess.com to get your goals set properly for the new year.

The fact that you have a plan speaks volumes for you so far, because this is where 98% of the people slip up. They have no plan. But if you have that plan, you are already part of the 2% group.

Here is where most plans breakdown, if your plan does not call for habit change in both your thinking and your actions, you will be doomed to repeat the failure cycle again.

It doesn’t matter how good your plan is, if it does not call for making changes to certain habits in your life, it will be met with failure.

I mean think about it, if you could get there by the same level of thinking and actions that you have been currently using, don’t you think you would have accomplished this already?

You MUST, MUST, MUST work on the thoughts and actions that will take you to the goal that you have set for yourself. Did I mention that you must change your habitual thoughts and actions in order to reach your current list of goals?

Without that key distinction in habit change, you will not reach those goals.

Here are a couple of things to consider for reaching your goals in 2011:

1. You have both conscious and subconscious thoughts about the goals that you want to reach. These thoughts are what have brought you to the place where you are at right now.

2. You have habitual actions that you have taken up to this point that have you at this place as far as this goal is concerned.

3. The only way to get past where you are right now is by:

A. Changing your thinking about this area in your life, both conscious and subconscious.

B. Changing the actions in this area in your life.

Changing the habitual thoughts and actions in relation to this area in your life is the only way of ever reaching this goal you have set for yourself.

You have been living your life with pre-exsisting thoughts and activities in relation to these goals you have set for yourself, the key to making the necessary changes to these thoughts and actions is to get to the root of this thinking and set up different thinking about them accompanied by different actions.

Once you start using the “new” thinking and actions, you will be on your way to reaching these goals you have set for yourself.

Another great resource to consider when it comes to habit change is located at http://www.habitbustingsystem.com, this is a great program that has many wonderful ideas for making lasting changes in your limiting habits.

As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,

God Bless You,
