One of the Worst Things that You Can Do for Yourself…

Just living in the US, is a blessing.

This country was founded on Divinely inspired principles and anyone living in this country now are blessed by the way this country was founded. Don’t get me wrong, far from perfect but a country that allows anyone with an idea, to take it to a market and if the market bears and they are willing to pay, you will be rewarded base on the market for your product.

This is also a country where you can speak out about how you feel things are with out fear of prosecution.

With all this being said, one of the worst things that an individual can do….

Is to place YOUR happiness in the hands of anyone other then God and Jesus.

When we put our happiness in the hands of others, we place too much power in the hands of these people or group of people. And as fast as they can make us happy, they can make us very unhappy as soon as they do not do what is to our liking.

Here are some thoughts to consider:

1. God is the only person who loves you unconditionally even with all your issues.

2. Everything that you do have, is because of God. The system that God set up of cause and effect will work with everyone. It will work the same for those who believe as well as those who do not believe. Those who believe in and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior are promised eternal life in heaven which is described as paradise.

Those who do not accept will spend eternity in hell, which I couldn’t even imagine and wouldn’t wish on my worse enemy.

3. The rewards you receive are all based on your efforts and your efforts alone. If you are currently working in a system where you receive money or benefits where none of your own money, time or effort has been invested, at some point you will be required to pay the price for that. And the price you may be required to pay may cost you, your soul.

When you rely on anyone but God for your happiness, you will be sorely disappointed over and over again. You may say to yourself, “John, what about yourself, how about relying on yourself for your happiness??”

I will answer this question with a question, has there ever been a time where you were disappointed with what you did or said? Exactly… you can’t do it alone and there is only one person qualified to help you and that is Jesus Christ.
