The Four Step Approach to Living a Successful Life (Continued) Part 1 – The Measuring Stick

When it comes to living a successful life, one of the problems that arises is what is the measurement of success. I personally have struggled with this for many years and I have recently come to the conclusion that the only measure of living a successful life comes from the Bible.

This Book gives us the blueprint necessary to live our lives in a manner of success and comes from the Highest Source of Knowledge… God!

It has answers for every challenge that we face everyday.

Whether it is with our finances, relationships, careers, or our spiritual life.

It even gives us our ULTIMATE GOAL and it even tells us how to accomplish this goal.

In the Bible, we are faced with a decision that we need to make as individuals.

We either accept the Lord, Jesus Christ as our savior and go to heaven when we die or we reject Him as our savior and burn in hell forever.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23

So according to the measuring stick, The Bible, the first step to living a successful life would be to accept, Jesus Christ as your savior. The only person who can wash away you sins. The only way that you can get into heaven.

There is no other way to be saved. Only through Jesus Christ. God made the ultimate sacrifice when He sent His only Son down to earth, to DIE for our signs. And to receive the gift of eternal life in heaven all we have to do is accept Him as our savior.

Not only that but when you receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior, it is irrevocable. God will not take it away from you.

The is step one to living a successful life.

The question you have to ask yourself is are you willing to live a successful life!

Your eternal life depends on it!

If you haven’t taken that first step to living a successful life, I encourage you to do that now. Here is the prayer to help you make that happen:

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

I would love to know what you think about this, leave your comments below.

As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,

John Clark
