And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
Everyday that I work with these verses, my eyes are opened to the ways to apply these Biblical principles. The greatest personal quality to possess is… LOVE. And to take that a step further, Unconditional Love.
I hope you are find this series useful. In a week since my pastor spoke on these verses, the way I look at the world around me has changed so dramatically, I am finding it hard to put into words. I am trying to look at the things around me with unconditional love. I am trying to look at the people around me with unconditional love.
What I find amazing is that the more I look at things with love, the better things become around me. This is a hard task and has required a lot of work on my end but it is getting easier with everyday that passes.

Today we are going to get all over 1 Corinthians 13 Verse 6 – 7:
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love “does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;” – The definition of iniquity is “immoral or grossly unfair behavior”. I like to look at this in black and white terms, if love does not rejoice in iniquity then hate does. So if you find any joy in unfair behavior, then you are acting in a hateful manner.
But love does rejoice in THE TRUTH. The only thing that is true is The Word of God. When we act in accordance to the Word of God, we are acting in love.
Love “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” – This verse really stumped me but as I thought about it, I was taking each part of the verse separately and then I realized that when you take it all in, I think it means that God’s love is forever! God’s love is unending. God’s Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, God’s love never wavers, never ceases, is always there and has always been there.
Unconditional Love is the greatest gift that God has ever given us. His unconditional love is the reason why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to this earth to pay the price for our sins.
I think the “Hope” part comes in that He hopes that we will turn to His Son for our salvation. And that is the choice that you have make. The book is already written, we don’t know when our time will come. So we need to make a choice for our lives.
The battle has already been won, we simply need to decide what side we are on.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. – John 19:30
Jesus said “It is finished.”
