With webinars, tele-commuting, and social media, the way we communicate with others is a very important.<\/p>\n<p>How do you connect with others?<\/p>\n<p>Connecting is a skill that can be learned. But now is the time that we have to learn how to connect with others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How well do you connect verbally?<\/p>\n<p>Are you afraid of speaking in front of groups?<\/p>\n<p>Can you comfortably communicate a message if called upon by someone else?<\/p>\n<p>Toastmasters is a wonderful place to learn speaking skills that can help you get over the fears of speaking in public.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How are your skills in writing?<\/p>\n<p>Can you convey a message that is simple to understand in as little words as possible?<\/p>\n<p>The main keys to effective writing is to be clear and concise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Listening<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The third and last part of connecting is listening.<\/p>\n<p>While listening make sure to \u00a0be actively paying attention. And make sure question for clarity.<\/p>\n<p>And don&#8217;t complete the others person&#8217;s sentence.
