When it comes to the power of focus, you are dealing with a power that is extremely powerful.<\/p>\n

Think of it this way… what ever you focus on expands.<\/p>\n

If you are focusing on the fat, the fat expands.<\/p>\n

If you are focusing on the debt, the debt expands.<\/p>\n

If you are focusing on failed relationships, you will get more failed relationships.<\/p>\n

The key to focus is to bring your mind to focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. This is a habit that you must develop in order to get to where you want to go.<\/p>\n

Let’s take a look at a couple of the examples above:<\/p>\n

1. Fitness<\/em><\/strong> – When we start out on a new fitness goal, we tend to look at ourselves in the mirror and we don’t like what we are looking at and sometimes we tie some emotion into that as well such as disgust, which increases the power of focus.<\/p>\n

In this case, we are better off painting a picture in our minds of what we want to look like and feel like and when we tie that with emotion and action. We will start to see that expand into our life.<\/p>\n

2. Money matters<\/em><\/strong> – My guess is if you are loaded with debt, there is a pile of bills that are sitting on the side of your desk and every time you look at that pile of bills, you are filled with emotion that is not good. This causes the power of focus to make that pile grow.<\/p>\n

In this case, we may want to start focusing on how we can profitably serve others. When we make that our focus, our income will increase with the service we provide and we will have the means to make that pile of debt disappear.<\/p>\n

This is a habit that works in our lives everyday but what are you focusing on? That is the million dollar question and that is what is expanding in your life.<\/p>\n
