Thinking this morning about Christmas and I am quite amazed at the concerted effort to try and take “Christ” out of Christmas.<\/p>\n
I mean think about it, in one of THE most unselfish acts, God sent His Son down to earth and we, as lowly as we are, continue to reject the greatest gift ever to be given to man kind.<\/p>\n
Back then He was rejected to the point where He was tortured to the point beyond recognition and hung on a cross until dead.<\/p>\n
This God-Man could have done anything to escape the pain and suffering but instead just took the sacrifice to wash away the sins of the world with His blood.<\/p>\n
What I find truly miraculous about all of this, is that after all the evidence that we are given in the Bible, we are still trying to take Him out of the holiday that is specifically set to celebrate His birth.<\/p>\n
The fact that God sent His Son down to this earth to die for our sins was THE single most incredible example of unconditional love.<\/p>\n
And all we have to do is accept Him as the ONLY person who can take away our sins and start to live by the perfect example that He set while He was on this earth.<\/p>\n
All this, while God knows that we will never live in perfection by ourselves and He will still accept us because we have accepted His Perfect Christmas gift.<\/p>\n
In all the hustle and bustle of this wonderful Christmas season, make sure to consider the true meaning of Christmas and the perfect gift of unconditional love that God has provided to all of us.<\/p>\n
And accept, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.<\/p>\n
And then start to experience the true Christmas miracle!<\/p>\n
