Marriage counseling can happen in a number of different ways. In some religions, such as the Roman Catholic religion, marriage counseling can be done between the couple and their priest. This can help them to find the help that they need in the long term through spiritual means. But, more commonly, marriage counseling is done by a licensed therapist.
