While in pursuit of the success you seek, the road will not always be smooth and you will encounter many bumps along the way.<\/p>\n

When this happens, depending on your resolve, the simplest thing to do is throw your hands in the air and give up! Which unfortunately many people do…\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here are a few things that may help you get past these road bumps:<\/p>\n

1. Take a second and sulk! That’s right feel sorry for yourself for a second. But only a second.<\/p>\n

2. Remember that you are responsible for the happiness you seek in your life and that everything that has happened came from a lack of judgement from you. You may not have been prepared enough to avoid what happened.<\/p>\n

3. Pull yourself up, dust yourself off and go back to the drawing board. Start with the goal that you fell short on and check to make sure it still a goal you want to accomplish.<\/p>\n

If no, then set a new goal immediately and get going.<\/p>\n

If yes, review what happened and then find the area that you were not ready for and find someone who has been past this point and find out what they did. There are many wonderful books and courses available that will help you bridge the gap.<\/p>\n

4. Start taking action towards what you want and don’t stop until you have reach that goal!<\/p>\n

5. If you hit another bump in the road, repeat the steps above.<\/p>\n

The fact is you will hit another bump in the road. Your ability to persist in spite of these bumps will determine your ultimate success.<\/p>\n

It’s very easy to look at the successful people around you and think that it just happened for them, but the fact is they encountered many bumps in the road but continued on the path anyways.<\/p>\n

Another point to remember the bigger the bump, the bigger the reward on the other side but only if you persist and get over the bump.<\/p>\n
