I have a question for you…<\/p>\n

Do you have one person you could call at 3 AM from a jail cell who would come and get no questions asked?<\/p>\n

If you do then you probably have a pretty solid network.<\/p>\n

If not you have some work to do on your network.<\/p>\n

If you see that cell phone commercials you see this guy using his cell phone with all the people walking behind him, and someone question the service and he says he has his network behind him. That is a powerful message.<\/p>\n

The question you have to ask yourself is, how powerful is your network?<\/p>\n

Having a powerful network can work miracles for you. But the key is to be a person of value to your network before you need help from your network.<\/p>\n

Here are a list of possible networks you need to be a value you too:<\/p>\n

1. Your family<\/strong> – This is probably one of the most important networks to service. How often do you keep in contact with your relatives? Do you call you mother everyday, every week, or just on mother’s day? Do you spend time with your children often or only when there is trouble?<\/p>\n

The key here is to be the person of value to this network. Always look for ways to find out what everyone is interested in and find ways to keep them engaged in the information they are looking for.<\/p>\n

2. Your Business<\/strong> – This is the next most important network. Are you using ways to be of value to your business community? Are you finding ways to help your business network get more business? Are you passing on things that are working in your business that could help them in theirs?<\/p>\n

The key here is to become so valuable to this network that they never venture off to do business with anyone else, ever!<\/p>\n

When you make yourself an invaluable resources to your business clients, they will die before they switch to another\u00a0service\u00a0provider.<\/p>\n

3. Your Professional Network<\/strong> – This includes your lawyer,\u00a0accountant, doctor, dentist and the like. The same theory applies here. If you find anyway to serve these people with ways that will expand their business, they will find you valuable and they may be able to help you find ways to operate your business. You never know when you may have to call your lawyer at 3 AM in the morning or when your accountant will call with a must have investment.<\/p>\n

The question is… Are they going to leap out of bed in a flash to come to your rescue?<\/p>\n
