The power of feedback is absolutely necessary for anyone who is looking to live a successful life.<\/p>\n

Feedback<\/a>\u00a0– \u00a0the transmission of evaluative or corrective information about an action, event, or process to the original or controlling source. (From Merriam-Webster)<\/p>\n

When you set your goals or objectives and start to take forward action towards them, you will soon begin to receive feedback. This feedback will tell you very simply if what you are doing is working or not working.<\/p>\n

It is very simple to tell if it is working or not.<\/p>\n

If the actions you are taking are moving you towards your objective, it is working.<\/p>\n

If the actions you are taking are NOT moving you towards your objective, it is NOT working.<\/p>\n

Let’s take a look at what to do if it is not working<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

1. You need to find out what it is about what you are doing that is not working and replace it with action that will start to move you forward. This is where you need to listen to those who are being effected by your actions and then you need to adjust your actions to what they are telling you will work.<\/p>\n

This takes a lot of courage and your ability to leave your ego at the door. You may even need to leave your comfort zone.<\/p>\n

2. Look to get around people who have already achieved what you are looking to accomplish and find out what actions they have taken and start to take those actions. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. If you take the actions that have created the result you are looking for, you will reach the same result if you take those actions. (Cause and Effect)<\/p>\n

Now let’s take a look at a couple of ideas to consider, even if your actions are moving you towards the result you seek:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Is there a more effective way that you can incorporate into what you are doing that will help you achieve your objective faster? If there is a faster way to achieve the objective, you should try to implement the idea. This is a huge time saver.<\/p>\n

2. With this fast moving world, you need to be working more effectively and you need to continually look for better ideas to reduce time and resources needed to accomplishment the goals and objectives you have.<\/p>\n

The Power of Feedback is a mighty force and you should be looking for feedback on a\u00a0consistent\u00a0basis.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind, the only way to receive feedback is to take action! Without the action, you will not receive any feedback and receiving feedback is the only way to grow and move forward.<\/p>\n
