When you make a commitment to yourself to change your life and live with a success mindset, you may still have things from your past that you to work out. These things have come from lapses in judgement and you still have to deal with them.<\/p>\n

Here are a few action ideas that you can use to get past these past indiscretions:<\/p>\n

1. Don’t avoid it<\/strong> – Face it head on. Hiding from it only makes it worse when it does have to be dealt with. Remember, you are responsible. And as a responsible person, you face challenges with a positive proactive approach.<\/p>\n

2. It’s not the end of the world<\/strong> – As human beings, we are fair from perfect and we make mistakes. If anyone has overcome this past failure or poor judgement, then we can too. Find out how they did and apply the same ideas to your situation if they will work for you.<\/p>\n

3. Ask for help<\/strong> – If you have exhausted every possible thing that you can come up with to get over this past mistake. Ask for help! Sometimes we let pride get in the way of our asking for help. Pride is a deadly sin that can certainly make you miss the mark. Swallow that pride and ask for help.<\/p>\n

Our past mistakes can be like anchors that hold us back from the success we deserve. The sooner we pull this anchor in or cut it loose the better. Remember we want to be full steam ahead and dealing with past indiscretions will help us build up the steam we need to live the life of success we seek.<\/p>\n
