Yesterday I posted a video on this blog by Jim Rohn. I love the way he explains things because his explainations are simple and to the point.
He says, “There is not a thousand things that you have to do to be healthy, there is about half a dozen.” Simple not complicated.
Living a successful life is also not complicated. Not easy but not complicated. Over the next three posts I will give you my take on the three keys to success in life.
The first thing that we have to do is to define success in life. I think that Earl Nightingale has one of the best definitions of success and that is “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or objective.”
The first step to living a successful life is to create a vision of what you would like to be, do or have.
This is where most people trip up. They don’t even take the time to develop the vision they would like to have for their very own life.
They take more time to plan a vacation then they do to plan their life. It’s a sad commentary.
This step is the worthy goal or objective comes into play. Or as Stephen Covey says, “Begin with the end in mind.”
Success starts with a simple step of creating your vision.
The areas that you would want to concentrate while creating your vision would be:
1. Relationships
2. Career
3. Financial
4. Fitness
5. Spiritual
These are in no particular order but you need to have a vision of each area.
Make sure to create this vision big. And then you need to break it down into small bite sized achievable parts.
A great success resource to help you with this is located at http://designsuccess.lifetosuccess.com
In the next post we will tackle working with the laws of success, this will be a great post.
Until then, Here’s to your LifetoSuccess,

P.S. Make sure to pass this on to anyone you know who can use this information and make sure to get over to http://designsuccess.lifetosuccess.com and start to work on the vision for your successful life.
