Look around, read the news, watch the news…
Things look pretty bleak, for the most part.
Here are some of the things that are currently effecting our world right now…
1. Civil unrest in the Middle East. The instability in this area causes the price of oil to go up, which has a ripple effect on the rest of consumer goods, like food, clothing and anything else that is transported using fuel.
Not only that but it cost you more to get back and forth to work.
2. Commodities trading at higher prices. Goods needed to make our food are trading at higher prices due to shortages in these commodities, wheat, corn even cotton used to make our clothes. It has been said that even orange juice will soon become a luxury item. A luxury item??? This means that feeding and clothing our families will be costing us more. Could be substantially more.
3. The US government is operating at budgets that are unsustainable. This means that they are spending more on social services then they are taking in, in the form of taxes. They are also printing more money in the treasury to cover these cost which is eating up the value of the money currently in the market place.
All of this going on right now, is a recipe for disaster.
The question at hand is…
Are you prepared?
Are you going to be a person who others are looking to for guidance or are you going to be the person who is looking to someone else for guidance?
Here are a few things that you may want to consider:
1. We need to turn our lives over to God. The only person who can help us with this situation is God. There is no person on this earth who is qualified to get it done. And if that person turns up and starts making things happen, be prepared for some real hard times if you follow this person.
We need to start living the example that Jesus Christ has set for us. When we start to put the needs of others in front of our own and leave our needs at the feet of God, we will start to be blessed.
2. Get involved in a local church… NOW!!! Start getting fed the positive word of God and start applying it in your life and encourage others to do the same. Don’t get discouraged if those you encourage to attend, don’t.
Simply move on to the next person in your area of influence and continue to try to bring others into the loop.
The problems we face today are because of one thing, and that is because we have turned our backs on God. We have started to live our lives simply for ourselves and stopped truly focusing on the needs of those around us.
And the only solution to the problems we face today, is God.
And we need to start today, right where we are at and start at the local level.
Letting God make changes in our lives and letting others know about these changes. And giving them the opportunity to know who is helping you in your life.
This will start a wave of change and who knows where it will go.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,
