This is a great video… I learned a couple of things from this video that I did not know before. Working hard is important BUT we also need to work SMART, meaning that we need to be working in a field or market that is willing to pay for the services that we provide. If we are working HARD in a field with limited appeal to the market place then we are just delaying our demise unless we are concurrently learning “NEW” skills that are more in demand to another market.
We can not be fooled by this…
If you are currently working in a job that requires physical labor that can be learned by anyone, your job at some point in the future WILL be eliminated no matter how hard you work.
I remember when I was a kid and every Thursday morning, we would bring the trash to the curb, I remember the garbage truck coming down the road with a driver and TWO guys hanging off the back of the truck. Now we pay a company to remove our trash weekly and it is a truck with a driver and he gets out of the truck and loads the trash into the truck. TWO jobs gone. It didn’t matter how hard these guys worked.
But when we work smarter on looking at the market place and determining what the market place is willing to pay for and then we work hard at providing that product or service to the market place, WHILE being smart and looking for changes in the market place and continuing to adjust what we do to be of more service to that market place, we will continue to be ahead of the curve.
BUT if we continue to do the same things over and over again, without concern for others are willing to pay for, we will become obsolete and it doesn’t matter how HARD we work.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,
