We are living in some very interesting times.
If you have been watching the news lately, you will notice that there is a revolution sweeping across the Middle East. We have people in the streets in Greece, Italy, and even in the US, we have people at the state capitals in Wisconsin, Ohio and Illinois.
If you have been to the gas station in the last day or two, I am sure that you will have noticed that the price of gas has gone up at least 20 cents in the last week.
We have news reports that say that because of the printing of money by the US federal reserve, food prices are going up all over the world because of the inflation that this printing of money has caused.
For those who have been looking at any of this, I am sure that you are taking some sort of side with these issues. I have no idea where you stand with these issues but I hope you are taking steps to make sure that you are prepared for what could be some very trying times.
Here are a few things to consider when faced with the choices that could determine where you spend eternity:
1. The battle lines are being drawn. Listen to what is being said out of these areas of strife.
Is there demands being made?
Are the demands reasonable?
Are the demands biblical?
Do the demands cause others to change? Are there any personal internal changes needed or is the happiness only going to come when someone else or something else changes?
2. Violence will not solve any of these issues that we face. Living with a peaceful heart and a trust in God, will be the only way out of these problems.
If it all falls to pieces, we are going to face some decisions that will shake us pretty hard.
But it is our faith in God that will get us past these problems.
3. There is only ONE Savior, Jesus Christ and He has died for all of us, all we need to do is accept this and repent (make changes in our lives out of obedience to the Word of God).
When things get bad, it is real easy to fall for anyone who claims to have the answers for the challenges we face. And most of us have not faced any REAL challenges in our lives, like where our next meal is coming from or how we are going to keep our families safe.
For those who have and still live a Godly life, I really admire you.
When things get really dark, how bright will your light shine?
Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I would really like to hear your ideas on what is going on now in the world.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,
