I am watching the events unfolding with these “Occupy”… protests and I find them quite interesting.
I don’t get it.
Maybe I am just thick when it comes to these types of things.
We have students protesting to have their student loans, removed. They signed the paperwork for these loans so they can become educated and then when their degrees don’t get them jobs in the field that their degrees are in… they blame… the BANKS??? How about blaming the schools for the outrageous fees that they are charging for these degrees.
If you can’t find a job with your fine arts degree, is this the banks fault?
Did the bank hold a gun to your head when you went to sign the student loan paperwork?
Help me, understand how this is the banks fault.
Do I agree with everything the banks have done? No.
But if they have done something that is against the LAW? Then why isn’t our government prosecuting??? That is the million dollar question.
I look at the people at these protests and I am quite saddened by them.
I mean, making all these demands for their happiness.
Waiting for ALL these things outside of themselves to change for their happiness.
Giving everything outside of them the power to make them happy. And becoming enslaved by the people that are pulling their strings.
Have you listened to or seen any of the videos from these protest?
They have no stated goal… They just want change.
They have no back up system to the system they are trying to bring down. This scares me, a little.
To be honest with you, the whole thing disgusts me.
I don’t know when we became a country of people that put all the power outside of themselves to be happy.
From my limited history lessons, I do remember that Declaration of Independence called for the right to… “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Not guaranteed happiness!!!
Please someone help me try to understand, how they feel this is the right thing to do.

Who is responsible for your happiness?
Is it you?
Is it someone else?
If it is someone else, you need to be prepared for some very unhappy times… in your life.
