Making Sure to Take of The Most Important Person in Your Life

Who is the most important person in your life?

It is of my opinion that the most important person in anyones life is THEMSELVES!

That’s right you are the most important person in your life. Now you may be saying to yourself, “John, hold on, my kids, wife, or parents are the most important people in my life.”

Well I would contend that. If you don’t take care of yourself you can’t take care of the others in your life. No matter how hard you try. No this doesn’t mean that you take up a “Hurray for me, to hell with everyone else.” mantra. We all need others and working with others in a way that you profitably serve others is key to a decent society.

Here are some thoughts on how you can take care of yourself…

1. Take care of yourself physically. Make sure that you schedule exercise into your life and make sure to eat foods that serve you instead of hinder you. This is the probably the most important place to start. The last thing you want to do is burden others with your health issues if you didn’t take care of yourself.

2. Take care of yourself mentally. With the garbage that is dispensed on the TV and the internet, we have to be vigilant with what we allow in our minds. Make sure to keep your mind focused on positive messages and make sure to keep your mind engaged in learning how to take the knowledge you learn to create results. As my mentor, Jim Rohn, says “Results is the name of the game.”

3. Take care and pay special attention to your habits. You are a sum total of your thinking and your actions which is basically your habits. We have been conditioned from birth to act in a certain way. And some of these habits we still carry with us today, without even knowing it. Real successes will happen when we can identify some of these limiting habits and replace the bad habits with habits that will serve us.

When you take care of yourself, you become a great example of those around you and this is a huge benefit to those close to you in your life.

As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
