I hope you enjoyed the video series by Jim Rohn, I believe he is the master of breaking down success ideas and making them crystal clear. What I enjoy even more when he speaks is the gut level feeling that what he says is… RIGHT!
One of my favorite quotes by Jim Rohn is “Results is the Name of the Game.”
At the end of the day all we have is the results we have achieved or we didn’t achieve.
- We have added a little more money to our bank account or we haven’t…
- We went to the gym and completed our workout or we didn’t…
- We took that training course and applied the knowledge to get the result we were looking for or we didn’t…
We are in control of the two things we need to be to get results: Our Thinking and Our Actions
When we take the time to think about what we desire, then create a plan to make it happen, followed by taking action to get it.
The action is where we start to see the results.
The simple way to find out if we are making progress is if we are getting closer to our goal or not.
If we are getting closer, we can simply continue down the path until we reach our goal.
If we are not getting closer, then we need to examine the two things we have control over and make adjustments to our thinking and our actions until we start to make forward progress again.
One of the areas that we can start to make changes in to help us make great progress is by monitoring our habitual way of thinking and acting. When we start to look at our thinking and action patterns, we can start to make profound differences in our progress towards our desires.
