The Law of Attraction and The Secret: An Archive Reflection

This LifeToSuccess archive post shared a video about the law of attraction and The Secret. The original clip used a retired Flash player. Rhonda Byrne’s work presents the idea that thoughts attract corresponding experiences. That is the book’s claim. Here’s an exercise for examining what your own attention and actions can change.

Write down a specific goal

Describe the result you’re working toward and why it matters. Choose a timeframe for reviewing your progress and a way to tell whether you’re moving closer.

Choose one action within your control

If you want to improve a skill, schedule time to practice it. If a relationship needs attention, choose a time to listen or reach out. Write down what you will do and when you will do it.

Review what happened

At the end of the week, look at what you did, what changed, and what stayed outside your control. Use what you learned to choose the next step.
