It has been a while since I posted on the blog, so please bear with me while I try to get my bearings here.
It’s been a while because I have been in a transition period from my old territory to a new territory, so I have been spending a lot of time trying to make sure everything was running smoothly. So I took today off to get a little head time and I thought I would post about worry and the power that it holds over us.
So what do we worry about:
1. Our health and the health of those around us.
2. Security – where are we going to get money for the necessities we need like food, clothing, and shelter. For us and those under our care.
3. We worry about being happy, having time for ourselves and doing things we like to do.
And many other things as well.
But does worry help us or hurt us. And where should we put our focus to minimize worry in our lives.
As far as the first question, I believe that worry is a wasted emotion and really only serves the purpose of freezing us to do things that sell us out. Worry makes us desperate and we will do things that are not good in order to fill our basic needs.
So with that being said, where should we focus our attention in order to minimize worry, we should focus our attention on the things that we have control over:
Our thoughts, our actions and our time (what we do)
Where are our thoughts leading us, what actions are they creating us to do with our time and the most important question….
Who is it serving?
When we focus our thoughts, actions and time on serving those around us, our basic needs seem to be taken care of but when we start to worry about where these things are coming from, we get into the scarcity mentality and enter back into, the worry state of mind.
So focus on serving others and let the rest take care of itself.
This is a perfect system, that God has setup for us.
But when we focus on how bad things are, we tend to get more of what we focus on. We should be aware of what is going and prepare for the worst but always keep our thoughts, actions and time in the service of others.
This is a formula that has worked since the beginning of time.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,

I enjoyed your thoughts and insight into the topic of worry. Well said. I believe worry is probably one of the most dehabilitating emotions that people deal with everyday.
