With the news constantly beating to the tunes of financial disaster, it is very difficult not to let the news effect you in some way. I believe this is just human nature.
If it is not effecting you, it is certainly effecting others around you.
Working on this blog over the last few years has certainly opened my eyes to the great number of very positive people out there and for that I am very grateful.
The one thing that needs to happen during this very trying time in our lives is to remain focused on our goals and objectives and off of this constant bombardment of horrible news we see in the press and on TV everyday.
Here are a few things to keep in mind during this time of financial upheaval:
1. You are responsible for your own success – This is the primary law of success. When you go against this law you end up giving power to things outside of your control. Whether it is to the government, your employers or whatever.
The key here is to keep the control of your success in your hands. How do you do this?
You keep reminding yourself of your goals and objectives and do something towards there achievement everyday. Keep the forward momentum going.
If you are unhappy about a certain situation, do something to change it immediately or accept it the way it is.
2. This is situation is only temporary – I’m sure you can remember times in your life that were less then ideal for you, but you got through it and your life was happy for you. This situation is no different.
The problem comes when you focus on the problem more then what you really want your life to be like. When you are concentrating on the problems, you are not taking action towards your ideal. This only delays your coming out the problem.
3. Stay focused on positive thoughts and ideas – For as many negative news sites on the internet, there is as many positive ones out there, including this one and many others like http://www.mikelitman.com/blog and http://www.getmotivation.com . These sites are constantly being updated with positive helpful information.
This is just a small list of ideas to help you through these trying times. The one thing that does not change is that your outcome will always be based on your habitual way of thinking and acting, not matter what happens outside of you.
Your habits always have determined your level of success and the always will. Make sure to visit http://www.habitbustingsystem.com and make sure you take advantage of this wonderful habit breaking and making system.
