“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:25-34
If you were oblivious to the news over the last weekend, black friday was a circus as usual with the videos in the news of people being trampled in the door ways of the stores with the sales for the start of the Christmas shopping season.
Also in the news, we seem to be having problems with the Fed printing money like crazy which is reducing the value of the dollar, which is making prices go up on everything from gas to food.
This seems like an awful lot of bad news going on out there in the world.
If you listen to everything about these commodities, you will hear that we have a limited supply.
Our oil reserves are running low.
The food supply is limited.
When we hear these things, we need to be cautious of the message this is sending.
When we hear that supplies are limited, it is in essence saying that God is not enough!!
It says that God is not supplying what we need to survive.
It says that we have to look for solutions outside of God.
This is the scarcity mentality that is used by those who want to exercise power over those who do not have faith in a God, who supplies use with everything we need.
Everything we need is right in front of us. All we need to do is turn our lives over to God and let Him do what He has promised in His word. We were created in His image, if He is going to take care of the birds in the air, He will certainly take care of our needs.
The key is to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
If you have been worrying about how things have been going in your life, I suggest that you give this a try.
Our God is a limitless God, and He has powers to provide us with whatever we need and He has promised this to us.
But this requires faith, a faith that He wants us to have in Him.
The problems arise when we try to step into the middle of what He wants and when we do not glorify Him.
We see this written in the pages of the Bible and history over and over again.
So how can you make a difference in the world?
You can start living your life for God.
You can start living your life the way He wants you to live.
This takes faith and courage but you can do it.
It will mean giving up certain things that you may have become accustomed to. It will require that you give up the life you have been used to in order to receive a greater reward for living for God’s glory.
As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
God Bless You,

Seek ye first the Kingdom of “God” and all things will be added unto you….. Great message John…
