Why does it seem like you take one step forward and two steps back?

One of the biggest challenges for a lot of people is they seem to move forward a little but move back further than where they were before.

When this is examined from an outside observer, the answer comes with the habitual thinking and habitual action of the person.

In Napoleon Hill’s great book, Think and Grow Rich, he says that “Thoughts are things.” This is in the first chapter. Why does he make such a big deal about our thinking? The fact is our thinking comes with great power. Another quote from that section is “Whatever thought that is held in the mind, whether feared or revered, will cloth itself in the most convenient path possible.”

Thoughts are powerful things and the way we think comes from habits that have been set from when we were small children. Can you imagine that you may be controlled by habitual thinking from when you were a young child?

Well it possible.
