Why Everything that is Going on in Our World is PERFECT…

Here are some of the headlines that are on the internet right now:

Judge Rules Health Care Law Unconstitutional

Nearly 11% of US homes empty

Crude Oil above $100 for the first time since 2008

US issues terrorist warning for citizens worldwide

Dozens of police break up brawl at church

100 Million Threatened by Massive Winter Storm

Egypt Braces for “March of a Million”

You may be saying to yourself, “John, all those headlines are horrible. How can all of this stuff going on be perfect? Are you crazy?”

I guess it all depends on your perspective.

I happen to believe in God. And I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, so that gives me a little different view of things. I happen to believe that God’s plan is perfect no matter what is going on in the world, my life or anyone else’s life.

All these things that are going on are all adding up to when the true return of the real Savior of this world is coming back and that is Jesus Christ.

It also forces you to examine where you are as an individual.

There are two types of individuals:

1. Those who accept the fact that there is a God, who sent His Son down to this earth to save us.

2. Those who don’t.

I am not judging either one, this is not my place or the place of anyone else on this earth. We will all stand before God when we pass from this earth and will be judged accordingly.

But here is what I do know from my very limited study of the subject…

For those who believe:

1. God is perfect and His perfect plan is unfolding exactly as He wants it too.

2. God is the source of our happiness. And He is more than happy to provide to those who believe and those who don’t. God is also unconditional love.

3. God wants us grow in faith in Him and rewards us accordingly. If we are challenged by something that is going on in our lives, it is God’s way of teaching us. And He will repeat the lesson until we get it.

4. There is an unlimited supply of what every we need to survive. This includes food, oil, precious metals, nutrients and whatever else we need to live.

5. Understand the greatest commandments.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31

Now let me ask you a question, if more people were to live by these commandments, would our world be a better place or a worse place? I’m thinking a better place.

You may say, “John, that is great but what if others don’t live by these commandments?”

The only person that we personally have control over is OURSELVES. Let’s start there and accept that God will take care of the rest. This is out of our hands.

For those who don’t believe:

1. They are looking for someone outside of themselves and God to make things better for them. This opens people up to becoming slaves.

2. They march the streets demanding others to change for them to be happy.

3. They feel the need to control others, to make them conform to their way of thinking.

4. They look at the supply around them as limited. There is not enough for everyone and it needs to be controlled.

5. They think of themselves FIRST, but when everything falls apart around them, they will cling onto whatever idea, person or group of people that they feel will make them happy again.

There is a lot of talk lately about “leveling the playing field” or about “Social Justice”, which basically comes down to making sure that everyone has “equal” possession, no matter what their ability.

This is wrong and ungodly. This does not mean that you turn your back on others in need, that is ungodly as well.

We are all rewarded based on our ability to provide service to others. Service followed by reward. Not the other way around.

It is our responsibility as individuals to continually look for ways to provide a needed service to the community that we live in. The more people that we serve, the greater reward that we receive.

What we are looking at now is a situation where we have a group of people looking at what others have and wanting what they have without providing the service.

There is only one word for that and that word is… theft, which leads to another of the commandments, Thou shall not steal.

Instead of looking at what others have and wanting that, we need to look at ourselves and examine the level of service that we are providing and adjust that. And God’s perfect plan will take care of the rest.

So how do we handle all that is going on out there in the world now? Well I don’t think it can be said any better then this:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:43-48

As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,

God Bless You,

John Clark
