Your Success and Living Without Excuses

What is your favorite excuse?

What is it that is holding you back from your dreams?

Not enough education…

Poor upbringing…

Wrong neighborhood…

You don’t have the right contacts…

Well the fact is… We are all responsible for where we are. If that is the first time you have heard that, then from this point forward you are responsible for where you are going to be.

No matter what we want to accomplish, there is away for us to get there but we have to take responsibility for our lives. Once we take responsibility then we can move forward with purpose.

Let’s take a look at the steps involved in No Excuse Living:

1. Desire – What do we want to be, do or have? This is the starting point of all success. If our goals are not written down in clear specific, time bound detail, there is a good chance that we will not make it. Take the time to write out your goals in all areas of your life. Career, financial, family, fitness and so on. This is also key to living in balance.

2. Planning – Once we have our time bound clear goals, we need to work backwards and set up a step by step plan to reaching our goals. This is also where we would insert any education that we may need to acquire in order to reach our goals.

3. Action – We need to start taking action on the plan that we have laid out. When we start to take action on our plan we will start to get feedback and we may have to get further training in order to reach our goals. But this will all come through the feedback we receive.

Without out action we will never reach our goals. But there should be no excuses.

I have recently started another blog called No Excuse Successful Living, please take a few minutes and check it out at http://www.noexcusesuccessfulliving.com and let me know what you think.

As Always, Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,

    John,

Thank you for the value. Your recent post just brought me back to the reality of why I have been slacking in my efforts online. My desire wasn't as strong as it once was. Thank you for relighting the flame of motivation.

I'm looking forward to your next post,

  1. Hey David,

Sometimes it is about reconnecting with the WHYS. Why do you want to have a strong on line business?

More free time to spend with your family.
    More free time to travel.
Money that comes to you while you are sleeping.

Make your WHY list long and powerful and whenever you feel the flame wavering, just go back to your WHY list.

    Thanks for your comments.

    John Clark

  2. Hey John,

You are right. All the knowledge in the world means nothing if you don't put it into action. I look forward to watching your new blog.

  3. Great post and points in the comments John. Connecting with the Whys allows you to overcome the Hows. Excuses are like lead-jackets. Carry enough and it becomes impossible to move. By finding a strong motivator you learn to shed the excuses and move into action.

  4. Great points, Ryan!

What if you were floating with all those lead-jackets on, before long you would find yourself at the bottom of the ocean and then there would be real problems.

    Thanks for the comments!

    JC
