Your Success and Your Power of Concentration

When it comes to living in a successful way, your power to concentrate on the the things that matter most is paramount. When you can focus on the task that move you forward towards your goals you are living a highly functioning life.

One of the best examples of concentration and focus is Thomas Edison and the electric light bulb. He had over 10,000 failed attempts to producing the light bulb. But he never gave up and he never gave in and he lit up the whole world. His ability to concentrate on what matter most to him produced the electric light we have today!

Your success is so tightly tied to your ability to do the things that matter most to you that move you towards the life style that you want to have.

Again this is a habit. A habit that you must have in order to succeed in life.

Here is a quick list to help get going on this important success habit:

1. Do you have a clear picture of your goals in written form? – This is the best place to start. If you can put your goals on paper and make it crystal clear, you have a great chance of being able to succeed on that goal.

2. Do you make a list of activities that you have to do everyday in order to reach your goals? – One of the best practices is to make a list of the activities you need to do the following day to move you forward towards your goals before you go to sleep. This will allow your mind to relax and formulate ways to get your goals done while you are sleeping.

3. Do you wake up and go to your list and start working on the highest priority task until it is complete and then move onto the next highest priority task? – When you make your task list it is beneficial to make this list in order of the most important tasks. The key to making this work is to work on the highest priority task until it is complete or until you can not move any further on that task. Sometimes we get to a point where we can not move any further on the highest priority task because of a bunch of reasons but we need to get back to that task as soon as possible to continue moving forward.

I hope this list works for you. It is a short but very powerful list.
